I am interested in the manipulation of time, how it can stand still and zip by instantaneously. I investigate how a choreographic work can exist in a nonlinear fashion that references past sections and exposes glimmers of what is to come. I prioritize magnifying the body's awkwardness, humor, and contortion of the body over the beautiful and elegant. I like telling stories that do not make sense and make my audience, my dancers and myself question what it all means. I want to ask big existential and small inconsequential questions and utilize the body in search of answers, or even better, more questions.
